Google Dashboard gives you a summary of your Goog-Life
Google’s new service actually gives you a summary of how you, well, use Google services. Google Dashboard provides an overall summary and simple settings for each service that you may be using from Google. Examples of services that you may or may not be using are: Gmail, Reader, Maps, GTalk, YouTube, Calendar, Latitude, Contacts, Search, Picasa, Blogger and more. For many of these services, you’ll be given a few lines of summary and some basic settings.
I found that, as I had guessed, I use a lot of Google services, My old blog, my calendar, my contacts, some documents, my email, syncing my iPhone, my photo albums on Picasa, all my RSS feeds on reader, Google Voice, my YouTube account and it’s lone video upload, just to name a few. I know people who are afraid of giving up so much information to Google. I’m not one of them. They provide excellent cloud services and I love them. If you’re afraid of losing data, back it up.
